Linnea Brengesjö Johnson

Linnea Brengesjö Johnson is a PhD student in an EU-funded project Bugs4Urate, focused on the potential of therapeutic food-grade supplements in preventing and treating hyperuricaemia. With a solid academic foundation, Linnea holds a master's degree in medicine from Örebro University, specializing in nutrition and physiology – Nutrition Gut-Brain Interactions, and a bachelor's degree in biomedicine from Linnaeus University. Her research interests centre around gut microbiome interactions, where she especially applies bioinformatics techniques to analyse microbiota data. Linnea's current work integrates both laboratory and statistical analysis, contributing to novel findings in the field of gut microbiota research.
